Hypertension Has No Symptoms
Why would I be talking about hypertension in the pain report?  The truth of the matter is that often hypertension does not have any symptoms and that's why I'm bringing it up.  Because there is no pain, people often ignore hypertension.  But the true value of an examination and the true value of seeing your doctor is picking up things that are silent and treating them.  Hypertension is a classic example.  What you need to do if you're treating high blood pressure is to assess the patient, to assess yourself, and to realize that long-term treatment prevents long-term problems.

Healthy Thought of the Day
If you have heartburn and have been treting it with over the counter medication, you should still have an exam by a doctor because chronic heartburn can be linked with esophageal cancer.
